2023 Thursday — medical Issues
I went to my medical provider today fully intending to get photos to document my day. One, I remembered to capture one photo. Ugh!
I am experiencing lots of pain in my hands and I have been experiencing an awkward ugly occasional pain in my upper left arm. My provider had almost no solution for my hands, except to prescribe Ibuprofen 600 mg. I am not fond of taking prescription medicine, so I will use these as a last resort. I am already treating the inflammation by drinking pineapple juice every day and adding apple and cherries to my morning yogurt. All three of these fruits helps with reducing my inflammation. So I am thankful for that.
The doctor thinks the pain in my upper left arm (between the elbow and the shoulder) is a problem with my left shoulder rotator cuff. Honest, the pain has never been in my shoulder; occasionally the pain feels closer to my elbow and sometimes right in the middle of my arm in the bone. So I was a little surprised when the X-ray technician said he would be taking an X-ray of my shoulder.
I was also given the newest version of the shingles vaccine (probably 10 years ago I had the old version of the vaccine). The new vaccine is a two-dose process so in two to six months I need to get the next injection. As well I was notified that currently they are checking everyone by way of a blood test to learn if they have or have ever had Hepatitis-C. So I "willing complied" and trotted to the lab to wait my turn to have some of my blood extracted. And I wondered the entire time what the heck Big Pharma is up to now. I truly believe that most doctors are in their field to help people. I also truly believe that pharmaceutical executives and hospital executives are all about the money. I think the medical world and the political world tie in a race for which is the most corrupt.
I stopped by the pharmacy on my way to my car to pick-up and pay the $1.60 for 50 Ibuprofen 600mg tablets.
As I drove away, I sent Mr. Fun a text asking if he'd like me to bring home some lunch; that's like asking a duck if he'd like to go for a swim. So I stopped to get a couple tacos for each of us and headed home.
In Southern California,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
and Chloe & Mitzi too!
