Marjorie's ramblings

Autumn

It was sunny again this morning, but much colder. A ground frost is forecast in the next few days.

Mum was in the Hexham Courant (page 3 no less) because she had a visit last week from the two men who have put together (with others) an embroidery exhibition to do with Methodism. They brought several of the embroideries for Mum to see. We don't know how this piece of local news hit the press, but she was thrilled.

I walked to the shop and back. Later I pottered through the village. Horace is beginning to hurt again, but not seriously.

As the sun started to dip, I caught the light on this seedhead. I love the low light, but I'm not so keen on the impending winter!
