Shopping day

A lot of empty floor space in Tesco. Most of it used to have tills. 
It rained all morning. This afternoon it eased off and the sun came out but it was windy and felt wintry. 
I swept up leaves from the back gardens but couldn't face the rest of our paths/ drive. The avenue is full of leaves (piles) yet the trees are still looking full of leaf - some yellowy and many others that remain green.
Lots of birds on the feeders and bird table again today. Goldfinches, blue tits, a great tit, blackbird and a robin.
Terry has put feed out for the hedgehogs and topped up the bird feeders.
Finished the book I was reading and will start another tomorrow.
