Today’s pick

Last day of our holiday in Burgundy together with our daughter and her husband. We spent a wonderful week in a small traditional gite at the end of a small village in the regional natural park of Morvan in Burgundy. It was warm like in summer and we enjoyed spending our time outside in the forests walking and looking for wild mushrooms. In the late afternoons we had a drink in one of the small country towns. In the evenings we made a fire in a stove in the big kitchen and cooked a delicious meal ( on gas) with regional products and our mushrooms and had a glass of wine or two.
Tomorrow we’re going back home.
And weatherwise it’s apparently going to be the end of the summer.
