Colour Me...

..Relieved! 

We are finally getting more autumn colour here! I was beginning to give up hope...but no, we found some this afternoon and it was at the cemetery! 

Whenever Mary comes to visit, we go to the cemetery to put flowers on her husband's grave (which will one day be hers too....) and it is often this time of year when that happens. The images I have when remembering  those times, are filled with the vibrant golds, reds and oranges of the trees that line the curving roads that wind around throughout the site..and this time it was just like I remembered....lovely. 

This morning, after returning Mary's rental car, we walked over to the little gift shop for the Lynde House museum down the street. Everything in the tiny shop is handmade...and as we are very much into arts and crafts, we like to see what other people are creating. Of course, we like to support the museum and the artisans, so felt obligated to purchase something. Mary came home with a felted hat and I with a felted scarf...a turquoise one with the balls on it!  I really like that woman's work and have a few of her creations already, but one can never have too many of a good thing...right?  

Tonight? - Thai Food take-out for dinner..yay..another day of supporting the local food vendors by not cooking! It is a sacrifice, but for a good cause.
