All Hail the Democracy Sausage

Today is voting day for the "Voice to Parliament" Referendum.
As voting is compulsory in Australia we like to make the most of the occasion by eating a "Democracy Sausage" after we cast our vote.
Polling booths are often at local schools, so election day sausage sizzles have become an important fund raiser for them. It's easy enough to pre-poll vote but I like to support the school by voting in person on the day.
It's also a bit of a celebration that I can exercise this right so easily.
