Blowing in the Gales

Sure has been a day of strong gale force winds at times. By around 3pm it calmed a little but has picked up again now. When we went to vote we noticed a few tree branches had blown over into the road, in places. Too dangerous to be walking outside. Lots of damage has been done around the city and in most of Canterbury. Here is a report of the damage if you would like to read it.

I managed to get this shot of our Cherry Blossom in between stong gusts. There are Cherry Blossom flowers blown all over the place.
