Jacaranda season

This is the jacaranda season. I went out with friends today going around town to look at these trees. This street has more than 32 trees planted at the middle of the street. Because of the two way traffic, I tried to take at least one good image showing the whole street, but it’s unsatisfactory - lacking the depth. So far this one shows the intensity of full blooms.

Blue Jacaranda tree (jacaranda mimosifolia) has vibrant purple flowers and lush summer foliage. Full bloom from late October through to early December. The trees leave brilliant puddles of violet petals in the streets.
