How's this for an abstract??

Went to 1897 at the Kempinski Hotel (MALL of the Emirates) for our two free glasses of champagne and met up with friend Jayne who we last saw on my birthday. A great evening catching up but the best thing of all was coming away WITHOUT my clothes stinking of cigarette smoke!

The Kempinski Hotel is the Ski Slope end of the Mall and last year they renovated the entrance and put up this amazing feature... large mirror on the wall with what I'm sure are Swarovski crystals embedded in it. So hard to capture it as you can't see the detail in the long shot and you can't appreciate the visual impact in the close up!

Another busy day working on project and also doing some housework! Ugh!

Oh - forgot to say - Jayne had seen my pink sunset picture on Facebook and commented on how much she liked it. I asked if she would be willing to pay for it to hang on her wall - to which she said . . . YES!!! Feel like I've sold my first ever picture! Woo hoo! :))
