Paddling on

After an early morning dip in the Med, we broke camp and hit the motorways north.
We stopped briefly at Bled for coffee then headed along Lake Bohinj to our next stop.
Reviews we had read of the campsite complained of overcrowding and difficulty finding a good level spot to park. No such problem in the middle of October! We picked up a prime spot along side the lake and settled in with sunshine.
The lake is stunning, surrounded by mountain and reflecting them perfectly on this calm day. We hired a canoe for an hour and had a leisurely paddle round taking in the views.
And to round it off we had a barbecue on the lake beach, and then sat and stared at the stars.
