Two little chairs

We are all too large for these chairs now, but there was a time when they were much used by our children. They were bought when we lived in Venezuela. The small one was used the most. It is crudely made of cactus wood and goat skin and was used as much as a stool as a chair. I remember Anna used to put it close to the kitchen dresser and stand on it so that she could see what I was doing. The goat skin is worn thin by little feet. In later years it was used as a teddy’s chair. The larger chair is also cactus wood but is laced with sisal fibre. Precious little treasures.
