Hospitalasaurus

These funny little creatures are at the hospital entrance to greet you and/or send you on your way. I joyfully waved goodbye to them somewhere around noon, when I was finally released into the fresh air. The procedure was a cardiac ablation, and they have done 8,000 of these operations in the past ten years. I like to think of myself as success #8,001.  I wouldn’t say it was fun, but it wasn’t painful and I only had to stay overnight. Hospitals are strange places, feeling like total chaos, but definitely able to get the job done. I’m glad to be home, grateful for insurance and medical care, and anticipating good healing and a quick recovery. Short term: I’m looking forward to a good night’s sleep!
