Not so scary scarecrow

Back to the allotment today. My job was to bag up all the buddleia and blackberry prunings that my wife had piled up. I filled 3 bags which I took straight to the tip which, surprisingly, was not that busy given it was a Saturday afternoon. As I was taking one bag up to the car I saw a dead rat on the path and thought that could be today's blip. It had gone however when I went back to get the next bag. It was definitely dead so I assume someone had disposed of it while I was loading the bag in the back of my car. I then spotted this scarecrow which I thought looked very jolly and not at all scary, and a much nicer blip than one of a dead rat.
