Saturday: UB 2023

This morning was quite exciting as we were in the path of a solar eclipse.  We weren’t in the heart of it but, for a short while, the light did take on a very curious quality.  The eclipse is supposed to break the ‘Ring of Fire’ which means things should hopefully cool down.

This afternoon, I went up to Belize City for the University of Belize’s 2023 graduation ceremony.  It was a lovely thing to attend, even if it did feel a bit long watching over 500 students get their diplomas.
