City skyline from Inverleith

Clear cool weather (and there's snow on the Cairngorms). 

Fetched newspaper and milk first thing; used the fleece jacket for the first time for months.  

Out later to walk to Inverleith; swans all present as expected (in a huddle on the far side of the pond). Tea from Milk, watched dogs and their owners, back by the Water of Leith path. The water level in the river is back to a more normal level, and the new edge defences seem to be intact. There's one willow which has split, and part of it will need to be fished out. 10C high.
