Morning Rush Hour!
While walking at the Kelpies this morning we were happy to see some movement on the water. Two boats were scheduled to start moving westwards at 9.00 am so we waited and watched as they approached lock 3. While waiting, we had a chat with one of the lock crew who advised us that the boat which sank at its moorings (see my blip of September 11th) should be removed on this coming Tuesday. That should be an interesting thing to watch, especially as the guy we were speaking to reckons it will be a “Laurel and Hardy” episode!
A beautiful bright morning but very chilly (4.00C) and a frost on sheltered grass. That will pretty much signal the end of the gardening season for the year.
