Pixie Cup Lichen

The day started with a walk around Tittesworth Reservoir. I'm struggling to get much walking in with other commitments so this is always a good couple of hours exercise!

Instead of the usual image of The Roaches across the reservoir I went for the small world. We always pass a wall where you can find this charming lichen.

This evening we met up with some friends who we've known for 30 years. It was a bit of an anniversary as we'd all met at work in Crewe. So we went to an Italian restaurant that we frequented at that time. We'll have to do it again as a couple of us couldn't make due to illness. Well, we don't need an excuse to meet up!
