Passing rain, Martindale

Of course it needs to be viewed large on black!

Taken from the top of Hallin Fell, looking down the valleys of Martindale and Boredale (to the right)the rain passing over the Nab really stood out in the blast of sunlight.

Just the one Wainwright today, as I'm planning a bigger walk tomorrow, and we were meeting Blip Director Graham and his wife, and a couple of other friends down from Scotland for dinner at their hotel in Grasmere.

Still, Hallin Fell makes Wainwright No 116, 98 to go.
