Walking the North Downs Way.  On the stage between Knockholt and Otford there's a point where you've got to walk along a busy road without any pavement, next to the M25, then cross over it.  As the official guidebook says "You must now face one of the most tedious stretches of the North Downs Way. ... this road-beleagured stretch"
