Fantastic concert at the Hydro last night. The acoustic first half was brilliantly different to having a support act.

Watching Dougie and Gregor onstage had me teary and emotional thinking of my wee mate from wick, Alan, who’s no longer with us and his brothers band Swiss Family Orbison, which Dougie & Gregor were both in along with his brother Keith and Kit Clark from Danny Wilson.

Long time ago we had almost a private evening upstairs in the original Westport bar in Dundee with the Band. Happy memories.

Miss you pal. You’d have loved last nights gig.

In other news, last day of the salmon season and was up at Meikleour again today. Caught a 12 lb hen salmon today and a 4lb brown trout. Another great day and great end to the season.
