Rest

I had to shorten my walk with Django this morning, because I had an appointment for my flu and COVID vaccination. Shame because it was a beautiful autumn morning. When I got to the surgery, they asked a few questions and decided not to proceed with the vaccination. I've had a lingering cold for a while now so they said that I was too run down - since my body is clearly fighting something, now is not the time to inject 2 more viruses... I can see their point. So, I did some shopping, went back home and followed their advice to rest. Lucie came mid-afternoon to pick up the letters and parcels that had arrived for her and we had a good chat.
