Filling up the gaps... back blips

Cycling through the Hermitage, still not feeling quite right on my bike and being overly cautious of minute downhills I stopped and pushed. The Hermitage is an ideal location for local kids to build dams and its not unusual to see a gang of 8-10 ish year olds in their wellies blocking up the Braid. I used to love building dams with my brother and sister, we once spent all day damming a stream when we were on holiday, waking up the next day to find an irate farmer on our doorstep with a flooded field.
