Glorious sunny autumn day for dads 85th . Scaled
down celebrations (due to the other 8 guests being banned to being bloody covid pos) we had pub lunch and a gentle walk along the sea wall at Haybridge Basin. We made him wear ‘the birthday glasses’ and laughed a lot . Can’t believe he’s 85 .. we demand a recount !!
I ran , ( well more of a jog/shuffle type of run) 5 km this morning . I set myself the goal a few weeks back and Mike really gave me encouragement that I could do it . So I did . Hoorah. Knees and Achilles very slightly sore , but think they’ll be ok . I am officially very pleased with myself .
He nipped off and did 15 km . I’m cool with my 5 :0)
