Alternative Reality v The Here and Now

A day of 2 halves, a day of excellence.
We started with a visit to a NT project at Castlefield Viaduct, where a garden bridge has been created to the very highest standard. Set amongst industrial heritage and Manchester's newest tower blocks, this new garden provides everything that urban dwellers need in the form of biodiversity and nature connection.
Then on to meet an old friend. We had lunch together, visited the Manchester Hip Hop archive complete with mc and great music.
Then on to a show that had everything.-'Free your Mind', based on the Matrix. The Show started with performance outside the venue, a carnival feel in the interval and probably the best dance show I have ever seen. Directed by Danny Boyle and others, they should be very proud of their production.
