Quite a disappointing morning for bearded tits today, as this was the only one that came anywhere near me. Fortunately I did manage to get a shot of him or I might have felt that the trip had been wasted :-)

The other bearded tits seemed quite happy to stay down low amongst the reeds, possibly something to do with what the weather forecasters were describing as a "gentle breeze".  Although with the air temperature only just at 5C it felt anything other than gentle to me.
