SOMETHING'S MISSING!

It's Mono Monday and the challenge is peace/piece.

Y'all instantly recognize a mess of trees along the shore of a lake (Long Lake to be exact) but, unless you're colorblind, a "piece" of the photo is missing.  The missing piece can be seen in the Extra photo.

Clearly, the missing piece in this case is color.  In fact, a riot of colors exist where, only a few weeks ago, the predominant color would have been just green.

Whereas I appreciate all of Ansel Adams' wonderful B&W pix of Yosemite, and B&W work in general, sometimes color is a missing piece of the image.  This pair proves that.  Sometimes.....B&W just isn't enough!
