Sanderlings

A nice walk on the shore of the Bay of Birsay and along to Point of Buckquoy. I was sitting on a rock when sixteen sanderlings flew up and landed quite close. Also around- lots of wigeon, a few teal, turnstones, ringed plover, dunlin etc.
