The Soutar's shop

Soutar is a long established anglo saxon surname denoting a shoemaker or cobbler.
Today we were lucky to visit an old Soutar's shop that has remained unchanged since its last occupant in the late 1940s. The local community is currently cataloging the shop prior to removing all the interior to undertake  some much needed restoration work to the exterior of the shop. They wanted some photos of the interior before the work commenced thus the visit. Its in essence a time capsule of a bygone age. Am amazing place to visit .
