Nice sky…

… After a challenging day.
‘Have you had a lovely day?’, I asked the elderly one, as we surveyed the lovely cards and presents.
‘Well no. I can’t say I have’.

I think where I go wrong is just not having access to that magic wand to turn back the clock!

So, at the end of a long day we have one (very well-fed and spoiled) nonagenarian.
And one weary me.

A quote from a kitchen notepad comes to mind, with a cartoon of a frazzled woman:
‘I’m a little stressed right now (just turn around quietly and leave and no one will get hurt).
