Off to Croatia - Slano Marina

Early morning - Taxi to airport at 4.30 am for the 6am flight


Short lay over in AMS then 2:20 hrs to Dubrovnik 


We took an Uber to Slano marina and had a lovely driver who told us loads of useful things including that all beaches are public spaces - even when they don't look it.

To our surprise we got the boat keys at the marina office and claimed our boat. 

Then we went for a swim (where I took the picture too) and a nice shower at the marina facilities - which were awesome!
Natasha and Iain were not expected until later that night so we went and explored the village. 


The shop was closed but we got coffee and some beer from the kiosk and found a lovely coffee to drink one too - coffee that was.


Walked back to boat and went to marina restaurant to wait for Iain and Natasha who did not have a smooth day with loads of delays and hassle.
 
They arrived around 9 pm and we had food and wine in the restaurant before we crashed in our beds - we in the front and they in the suite in the back.

Adventures will start tomorrow.
