Monday

after the weekend before. Had a child protection training morning. It was surprisingly delivered by a lawyer who specialised in nursery and after school club. It was good to hear what the law says about child protection as opposed to the social worker lived experience version. Both perspectives are valid but don't exist in a vacuum. We had lunch cooked, today rice and lentils. An old colleague popped in to say hello which was nice. 
After work I came home to collect the Pfand bottles and headed back out again. Had a quick detour to a chemist/boots type of place. Had to smile as the woman who bought the vibrator got beeped by security and had to wave her purchase at the checkout person/the whole of the queue. 

Stopped at the new flat on the way home to dissolve all the gloves I could find.


Strip more paint off the door handles. It is slow but dipping the steel wool in acetone works best but it dissolves all the gloves I have tried. 

Then came home for my German class. It's going to finish in November but there are no classes that I can find from the place I have been going to. Goethe is about three times the price so I need to hunt down another solution. This week is shaping up to be another busy one.
