Autumn in the Test Valley

This morning, I met a friend  for coffee in Stockbridge . Then we went for a short walk on Stockbridge Marsh, a wetland habitat just behind the High Street, through which the River Test flows. It was chilly, and the trees and shrubs were looking quite autumnal so, afterwards, we went to a small restaurant, and had spicy butternut squash soup for lunch.
My blip shows one of the tributaries to the Test. The water is always crystal  clear, emerging from  underground aquifers at a constant 11C.
