Blue Hour Severn Bridge

You may recall last week I was trying out some filters for a photography evening at the M4 motorway overpass at the old Severn Bridge. Well, that was this evening, but rather bore you with another shot much like the one on Friday here's the old Severn Bridge.

Long exposure doesn't really do much for the traffic here - it's just a long red and white curve - but it does smooth out the river herself, and I've left her in rather than crop onto the bridge because, let's face it, she is beautiful. ;-)

Earlier run the day it was monster carvery lunches with my old National Grid team, now all retired themselves. It's a pretty good insight into how the team remains bonded that I retired more than eight years ago and yet it feels like yesterday when we all get back together.

Oh go on then, have a wiggly lines extra!
