Survivor!
Several times, I've grown dahlias (The Bishop's Children is the variety) from seed. They flower in the first year, and usually die thereafter, because they're not hardy. I should dig them up and dry the tubers, but they always seem to rot. These, however, have survived in the ground for a couple of years, and are increasing. Gobal warming, I guess.
I'm not sure I like the colour, it seems over-saturated in the autumn garden, but it deserves a mention simply for making it this far.
