Dried Hops

........... I spotted these as I walked past the allotments - the flowers have died off and turned brown without actually dropping off the plant - I thought they looked rather striking against the green leaves ;-)

Back to reality today as there are still several things that need to be done - I have to put mum’s obituary in her local papers ( which I’m not looking forward to doing ) .......... she knew so many people, whenever we went anywhere somebody would recognise her and come and chat. I think the furthest away was when she went on holiday to Malta once, someone she worked with 25 years previously recognised her in the hotel ;-))
