Flowing
Finally the rain came to an end allowing me to get out. It was still quite windy. I got interested in the duckweed ebbing and flowing in the inlet carrying with it the odd leaf floating on the water surface. Really quite a challenge to get the timing right, taking into account the effect of wind speed on the water, shutter speed, leaf arrangement, static vs moving elements, etc.
I liked the main shot because of the lines of movement and directionality, yet the bottom of the image is comparatively still. The extra I like because of the colour and it's almost pointillist style (although I dislike painting comparisons).
Extra: Fluidity.
