A single yellow leaf on the sidewalk at the Riverwalk today. I walked at noonish after visiting Brett. The path had many over hanging trees so there were interesting shadows.

Surgery for Brett is tentatively set for Wednesday but we don’t know any time, etc. He is so ready to get it over with. He feels much better and the only pain he is having now is the incision where the abscess is draining.

Many heartfelt thanks to all who are sending healing wishes for him. He still has a ways to go and more pain to come as he recovers from surgery so keep them coming.
