It’s All About Breakfast

Thirty of us went to the Over The Bay restaurant at Falmouth Golf Club for breakfast this morning, the ‘us’ being Military Veterans, some partners, for our monthly meet. A great breakfast in a room with spectacular views “over the bay” oddly enough.
Ninety minutes later Mrs S and I were on our way into Falmouth for sewing thread and some material for the latest project Mrs S is undertaking. A coffee in The Shed rounded off the morning and we headed home.

Couple of hours later off to the rugby club, 1st XV home to Kingsbridge, good match to watch, Falmouth losing by two points due to their ill discipline. A beer or three whilst the first rugby World Cup quarter final between Wales and Argentina played out. The resounding cheers as Argentina scored, then beat Wales, were a little disconcerting, I thought we would be supporting all the northern hemisphere teams.
Having said that, with Ireland losing to New Zealand this evening I am on course for my picks for the semi finals;
Argentina - New Zealand - England - South Africa

Having consumed enough beer to feel ‘tired’ I returned home before the evening kick off and slept in the arm chair for half the match.

Long day
