Culture Shock and Big Brother

Took Adam to his hotel in Hollywood this afternoon and made the most of the occasion by spending time in the pool and going out for dinner. For Elinor and Nesta, both well versed in Taylor Swift songs, it was a bit disconcerting the see the flamboyance and outright outrageousness of Styx, Aerosmith and Guns’n Roses videos playing at our table as we ate our food. Also disconcerting was the attractive young lady with a Russian accent who took pictures of us and sold them to us for $15 a pop. There is someone somewhere collecting and compiling an awful lot of data on our movements and habits.
