Supermarket

Routine day of errands. I needed to collect some tablets from the surgery and go to Tesco’s, but like any other trip I added a couple of other stores. Parking at the surgery is complex because there isn’t any patient parking nearby, so we did the trip in reverse order. Pets at Home, B&Q, then Tesco’s where I found some North Staffs oatcakes which I had for the first time last Friday.

We then went to Waitrose where we parked, B waited in the car whilst I walked to the surgery for my tablets. Having used the free parking we went in for coffee and a pastry. It was late morning by this time and the cafe was full of very elderly people. I managed to find a supply of grated Emmental cheese for my French fish pie, so that will be on the menu tomorrow.

The plan was to collect Olive on the way home, but the boot was full of bark. We unloaded the car before I went back to get her.

I was a bit more lively after my lethargic day yesterday, but still needed a nap mid afternoon.

I have managed to registered a complaint about the misdirected mail.
