More painting

We were a bit late getting up this morning - probably tired from a busy day yesterday.
It rained all night and most of the day.  The garden will be lapping it up.
The waste company came and collected the rubbish from underneath the house.
MrMacD made Green Olive, Thyme and Pine Nut Buns, except he substituted sunflower seeds for the pine nuts.  They were delicious.
I started painting the walls, but didn’t quite finish one coat on all of them.
Cleaned all my equipment.
We went to a Community Meeting set up by the Waitaki District Council to come up with ideas for the Council’s Long Term Plan.  It was a very interesting evening, with lots of discussion and lots of interesting ideas about Oamaru, why we like it, what is holding it back, how it could be better, etc.  It was good to meet new people too.
