The Shortening Days

We are now well into October and the dark mornings and early evenings are making their presence felt.

It is only twelve days until the clocks fall back one hour to GMT which gives a lingering reprieve to brighter mornings at the expense of darker evenings.

The weather forecasts are doom laden with warnings of winds and storms. Our friends in the north post photos of Snow and some fallen trees.

What can’t be cured must be endured? Not likely! Different pleasures and pursuits beckon. I have “Faith" in that belief as today’s entry illustrates. Time stamp indicates 16:51 BST. and the sun is virtually due West.
