Oh Miriam

Went to the field this morning with the dogs despite it being wet and windy. The dogs had the usual great fun but Kilda was ready to go home when the rain increased after an hour. Gave Darwin a bath and sorted a few things out in the morning before starting to give him a cut. He did well but we couldn’t do his feet or head again. PB and her friend were meant to be coming up to go and see Miriam Margolyes at the Usher Hall, unfortunately the trains were cancelled due to the heavy rain and winds. Fed the dogs early and gave them a walk before we went up to the Usher Hall. Miriam was very good and her acting during the readings she did was fantastic. The guy asking the questions wasn’t great and they got onto Brexit which turned the audience for a while which was a shame, Came back and watched the sprint race and then watched the first 30 minutes of the Scotland v Ireland game before giving up as Scotland were getting humped.
