We’re off to see the Lizard………..
………..on Friday for a week.
Usual favourite place.
Mullion Cove.
The last one of the holidays we have had to celebrate our Golden Wedding year.
The weather looks wet, wet, wet, but that could change.
We went to see Bobbie this morning but when we arrived we were informed by the Receptionist that no visitors were allowed today, as they had cases of sickness and the usual that goes with it d……..a.
By the time we arrived home it was almost time for lunch,
I went into the summerhouse with a coffee, ( and took my blip photo).
I had more washing out on the line first thing mainly bedding,
The duvet cover was dry before lunch in a strong wind,
It’s calmed down a bit now, and feels a bit warmer than it was at this time yesterday.
The low sun is catching the leaves of the Climbing Hydrangea on the porch.
After lunch I went for a circular walk as it is going to rain tomorrow, evidently or maybe! Anyone’s guess according to the weather presenter.
It’s complicated, and there’s another storm brewing out in the Atlantic……..called Babet! Where do they get these names!
I enjoyed the walk and stopped half way at the Mitchell Farmhouse café for a coffee.
Our friend is coming to tea as usual this evening.
I’m sitting here in the front lounge looking out at the trees surrounding the school. The cherry trees leaves are turning red, the oaks are beginning to turn gold, and the very tall holly is laden with bright red berries.
The light is just beginning to fade…..
