Fly

There are Sow Thistles about at the moment in abundance, with bright yellow flowers and seed heads filled with flies, bees and other crawlies. The flies are blighters to catch but this one caught a bit of light behind its wings which I quite liked and posed for just long enough.

We've had the heating turned on now for the past two days. It's such a luxurious joy to be cosy in the evenings and especially early in the morning. M keeps an eagle's eye on the thermostat!
