River Reflections

The River Great Ouse runs from Northamptonshire through Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk to The Wash and into the North Sea at Kings Lynn. The fifth longest in the UK apparently.

This little stretch I’ve blipped today is outside the Kingfisher restaurant where I met my long time BT friend Alyson. She still works for them - well Openreach now - but as she is on the ‘engineering’ side of administration, she enjoys what they call a nine day fortnight pattern and every so often we meet up on her off day.

We had lunch and caught up on each others news. She is just back from a magnificent other side of the world holiday, 5 weeks in Australia with two of her friends. Some superb pictures and experiences.
