Sat on the bench.

I just sat there on bench, eating slowly my hotdog, looking at busy people rushing past me after their working hours. I had good time before my Tuesday Rotary meeting started. The topic of today was «How to get younger members to the club ?» We have had this topic some times, without getting any young member to the club. All members today are retired ones, like me. Other Rotary clubs in the city have the same challenge. Some clubs have been forced to close. Some of our club members have passed away through the years. Some of my age have come to the club. We are still about 50 members like we have been since I became member 30 years ago. Looks like the younger generation today have other interests that keep them away from joining clubs or organizations like ours. Today we agreed on a plan I hope will give some positive results.
