sphagnum moss planting

A wonderful day of planting sphagnum moss - a little miracle plant that has the power to restore our very clever peat bogs which lock in tons of carbon. Such a joy. We also saw one of the dams created a few years ago which has successfully prevented water running off the moor, creating a glorious bog. It amuses me that the thing I once hated about the peaks (bouncy peat bogs) are now a passion.

Gratefuls:

1. The privilege of conservation;
2. Eve returning from her y7 residential very happy;
3. Happy memories of JF on her wedding anniversary.
