Sophie On Horseback

We’d booked a horse ride for Sophie, Tess and I this morning and found ourselves riding down the estuary of the River Gannell, led by two of the girls from the riding stables.

It was the longest ride Sophie has been on (and our first for a few years!) and she absolutely loved it. She and her school friends are mad on horses so she’ll have plenty to tell them after half term, especially the number of times we waded through the river as the blips show.

It was decidedly windy and we were in need of a hot drink and a warm up in the nearby cafe afterwards.
