Re-election Time

Over to the boatyard to assist in unstepping a few masts and catching up on the yap about the place. It seems the boat lift planned for Saturday is pretty certain to be canned due to some filthy weather incoming. Storm Babet apparently. "While many parts of the UK will experience heavy rain at times, the biggest concern is for central and eastern Scotland.” What joy. 
Then an email arrives from the Commodore about the evening’s AGM. The Secretary is indisposed. "Would you be able to run the meeting please?  i.e. keep us to the agenda, take minutes, find tellers etc." 
Keep us to the agenda? Isn’t that the Chair’s job? Of course I’ll do it, I say. I decide I better put a tie on.
